About Ruah

I am a Sudanese artist based in Saudi Arabia. My work explores themes of identity, memory, displacement, and belonging — told through bold colour and expressive brushwork.

Growing up between cultures gave me a deep appreciation for storytelling through art. Each painting is a conversation — between my heritage and the present, between emotion and form.

I work primarily with acrylics and mixed media, drawing inspiration from Sudanese heritage, contemporary expression, and the raw beauty of everyday moments.

Whether it is a portrait that captures a fleeting expression, a landscape bathed in golden light, or an abstract piece that speaks to the soul — my art is always personal.
